We recommend a practical pre-assessment day in our training centre for candidates with limited previous experience
of commissioning, inspection and testing (this is mandatory for candidates with no previous practical experience)
Who is this qualification for?

Prior achievement of a Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installation qualification (17th edition of the
IET Electrical Wiring Regulations, version 2008, 2011 or 2015) is a requirement for course entry. Proof of prior
achievement will be required before course commencement without exception

Experienced electricians and those looking to apply for JIB Approved Electrician Gold Card status

Mature adults with on-site electrical experience will be considered on an individual basis subject to pre-entry
interview to assess suitability for the course
