With over 40 years experience in the electrical contracting and education sectors, we are perfectly placed to provide quality training at affordable prices.
Ipswich Skills Centre is a privately owned company providing specialist bespoke electrical training for those new to the industry, experienced electricians, domestic installers and those working in associated industries.
The company was created to offer quality personal training programmes in a modern adult environment as an alternative to your local college where the focus is more often on the young school leaver continuing in education.
Our mission is to deliver quality training rather than quantity, to support this we guarantee you every opportunity to achieve your goals by limiting the number of candidates in each training group. For example, we restict the number of candidates for practical workshop sessions to just four trainees at any one time to ensure that we can provide you with the personal attention to fully meet your training needs.
We are fully accredited to deliver EAL industry standard electrical qualfications that are recognised by organisations such as the Joint Industry Board for electrical operative grading purposes and those providing accreditation for domestic installer Part P Building Regulations schemes.
EAL and City and Guilds are the two major players in the electrical qualification marketplace, both provide equivilent qualifications that are approved and recognised by the electrical industry. We have chosen EAL as our preferred partner as, in our opinion, they provide us with a refreshing approach to qualification delivery whilst maintaining standards to the highest levels. To find out more about EAL visit www.eal.org.uk
Our training centre staff have a range of diverse skills and experience, these include fully qualified experienced teaching professionals with backgrounds in major FE Colleges and staff who have experience working as electrical apprentices, electricians, technicians, project managers, estimators, those who have managed their own electrical contracting companies including part-time staff who are still working in the industry using the most up-to-date products and techniques.
