This is primarily a theory based course with options to include sessions to develop practical testing skills if required

Daytime course - 5 days centre based training including final on-screen multiple choice open book examination followed by 1.5 days attendance for practical competence assessments

For those with no previous inspection and testing experience the course fee includes 3 x 3 hour in-centre workshop based training sessions to develop inspection and testing skills linked to relevant theory and completion of associated documentation

Although not mandatory, we recommend that candidates with previous practical experience of commissioning, inspection and testing consider completing a practical pre-assessment day in our training centre

Prior achievement of a Level 3 Award in Requirements for Installations qualification 18th Edition of the IET Electrical Wiring Regulations, BS 7671 version 2018 or later, is a requirement for course entry

Mature adults with on-site electrical experience will be considered on an individual basis subject to pre-entry

Daytime course - 5 days (9.30am to 4pm) delivered over three weeks + 1 morning (9am to 1pm) and 1 day (9am to 3pm) for practical competence assessments

£1314 (£200 deposit followed by 1 x £1114.00 payment prior to course commencement)

Daytime course for electricians with limited inspection and testing experience -
£1530.00 including mandatory practical pre-assessment day (£200 deposit followed by 1 x £1330.00 final
payment prior to course commencement)

Daytime course for electricians with no previous practical inspection and testing experience -
£1830.00 including practical skills development sessions and mandatory practical pre-assessment day (£200
deposit followed by 1 x £1630.00 final payment prior to course commencement)

Optional pre-assessment day for electricians with previous practical experience of inspection and testing -
£215 (Full payment required when booking)
Please note - Electricians who choose an 'experienced' option without completing a 'practical pre-assessment day' will
be charged applicable fees in the event of any requirement for additional attempts at the practical
competence assessments
