1 day update in-centre is now available to delegates who have previously achieved the Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical installations BS 7671:2008 (2015) 3rd Amendment version or delegates who have achieved the Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) post 2015.

3 day full course in-centre is now available to delegates who have previously achieved a version of the IET Wiring Regulations qualification prior to 2015 and experienced electricians.

Who is this qualification for?
This qualification is available to experienced electricians, operatives working in associated industries and those new to the world of electrics.
It's the must have qualification for every electrician, domestic installer, inspection and testing engineers. This qualification is suitable for those who either work or do not currently work in the electrical industry, the only requirement is that you are over 18 years of age.

How is the qualification assessed?
Final assessment is through a centre controlled two hour 60 question on-line multiple choice examination (this is an open book examination that permits the use of BS7671:2018), please be aware that you will need to provide the centre with an acceptable form of photo identification before being permitted to sit the examination.
With the exception of e-learning, all course options will require delegates to successfully complete an in-centre two hour 60 question on-line muliple choice mock examination prior to attempting the final examination.
Please be aware that no update examination has been made available for those delegates who previously achieved the 17th Edition Amendment 3 qualification, all delegates will be required to complete the full examination.
What will you need to provide?
You will need to purchase a copy of the IET 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations publication (the new blue coloured 2018 version - ISBN 9781785611604) and provide your own calculator and writing materials.
In addition, for those completing e-learning or flexible course option, you will need to provide a suitable device to access the provided on-line learning materials and resources.
